A Powder Coating Wash Down booth was leaking out of the seams due to corrosion, SLS were called into to come up with a solution that would last! The booth was submerged in water that contained diluted phosphorus so the lining would need to be resistant. The client requested that we create an angled step to make cleaning the booth a lot easier. The booth was manually prepared using handheld grinders then using a kiln dried/resin mix, a 45 degrees step was created and left to cure. SLS Operatives sanded the entire bunded booth for any imperfections before applying two further coats of Vinyl Ester; the last layer containing wax in styrene to aid with the curing process.
