A regular customer of ours in Southampton Docks wanted to utilise their container roofs for safe storage of equipment. What we were initiall faced with was a bank of 6 containers stacked side by side with gaps. The surface was slippery and not at all good for storage.
SLS installed some 14mm grating perfect for pallet trucks. The grating covered the gaps shown in the photos whilst also giving a hardwearing surface that is weatherproof and strong. The works only took 2 days to complete including fitting and the company now has perfectly usable storage space for their pallets and equipment. We had some grating off-cuts left over so we kindly made some anti-slip stair treads much to the customer’s delight!
