Bund Lining Cumbria

Given the harsh chemicals in the tank, a bund lining system that would guarantee it would hold should a primary containment fail would need to be a glass reinforced plastic lining. Therefore the specification was changed on the contract.

All six of the bunds were water blasted to create adhesion and remove laitance from the new concrete. They bunds were then dried, and our GRP epoxy vinyl ester lining system installed.

The weather hampered us on many occasions, but with flexible working hours by the site team we got this project done on time.
