Repairing Leaking Paint Booth Wash Down Tanks
Our customer in Banbury had 4 x Paint booth wash down tanks that were leaking. Due to the nature of the solvents leaking they needed a quick solution that would firstly stop the leaks, but also prevent them happening again.
The chosen method was a glass reinforced plastic lining(GRP) followed by two coats of Epoxy Novolac Top Coat. Epoxy Novolacs have a great chemical resistance, particularly for solvents, and using the GRP before bridged the holes and the welds.
