Polyurea Tank Linings for Thames Water in Berkshire

SLS recently carried out two installs of their Tough-Spray Polyurea system on two different sites in Berkshire on behalf of Thames Water.

The first install was for two brick-built sewage tanks which were falling to pieces through attack. Installing our Tough-Spray polyurea system not only strengthens the entire structure, it also offers flexibility and chemical resistance against Raw Sewage.

This is a perfect example of how even an extremely deteriorated tank can be refurbished using Polyurea coatings.

The second project carried out on behalf of Thames Water was a steel tank. This tank had several layers of epoxy so it was tough going to remove the existing lining. Once the lining was removed we applied EP100TX Epoxy Primer followed by 2mm of Hotspray Polyurea
